Originally from Phoenix Arizona, it's fair to say Carson is an Asian nomad, having worked his way through some of Ashley Sutton’s top bars in Asia. Right now, he considers Bangkok to be home, and having been here from the very start, when Ash came up with the insane idea to create a distillery in Bangkok, there's nothing about IRON BALLS he doesn’t know.
PAMPLEMUSE FIZZ
INGREDIENTS
45ml Iron Balls vodka
30ml lime juice
25ml Giffard pink grapefuit syrup
15ml egg white
40ml soda water
GARNISH
2 dashes of Angostura bitter
METHOD
Dry shake all ingredients first.
Add ice to the shaker, hard shake and double strain in a pre-chilled coupe.
Garnish with Angostura bitter on top.
THE SPITCOCK
Ingredients
45ml Iron Balls gin
30ml lime juice
30ml Roselle syrup
15ml egg white
Garnish
Half a passion fruit cinnamon sugar
Method
Dry shake all ingredients first.
Add ice to the shaker, hard shake and double strain in an ice filled rock glass.
Garnish with half a passion fruit and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
IRON BALLS GIN & TONIC
Ingredients
45 ml Iron Balls gin
100ml premium tonic water
Garnish
1 lime wedge
2 slices of fresh pineapple
3 basil leaves
Method
Pour Iron Balls gin into a large burgundy glass.
Squeeze and drop the lime wedge into the glass.
Fill it with ice and top-up with your premium tonic water.
Stir and garnish with the basil leaves and pineapple on top of cresting ice.
THE IRON REIGN
Ingredients
40ml Iron Balls vodka
20ml Iron Balls gin
20ml La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc
Zest of 1 orange
Garnish
1 lemon peel twist
Method
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
